Two years ago, while riding back home from work, I found a 2007 Kawasaki KLX250S in a random property. It was sitting in someone’s backyard, uncovered, exposed to harsh inclemencies and getting rusty.
The battery was charged and the engine was running great. The previous owner assured the motorbike never had any major issue so, after offering some dollars a nice chat, I brought it home with me.
Honouring my lack of skills combined with my fearless spirit, I crashed it breaking the front brake lever and making a dent in the front rim.
In addition, I lost the idle screw somewhere and found several leaks in the brake system that explained why braking was becoming an odissey ๐.
From every single bolt to a full engine upgrade, I’m giving Lemon, Lime & Bitters a well-deserved fresh look to make him roar back on the dirt as soon as possible.
