Chain and sprockets replacement done! ⚙️

What a great stay at Mater Private Hospital Redland with this awesomazing young lady and exceptional rider, my friend Grace, who flew from Chiang Mai to Brisbane just to ensure I don’t jump on a motorbike right after getting my knee fixed.

Visitors are not allowed to stay in the room after 8:00 pm, but Grace was that helpful and caring that the nurses made an exception and granted her permission to stay overnight. They provided her with a blanket and a pillow, and she managed to sleep in a tiny sofa. Doesn’t she deserve a huge property in Heaven?

Once back home, Captain McDonald didn’t let me do anything other than chill on the couch. When I wanted to go downstairs to give a hand, she used reverse psychology to keep me quiet on the couch 😅. She carried all the house duties and took me for walkies when I was not misbehaving.

Special mention to Sammy, who has been bringing the most exciting conversations over the phone since I had the accident, Cath for her support and healing choccies, and Steve and Gail for helping me to move around when needed.

I’m so lucky and grateful to have such amazing friends in my life. Cheers to all the wonderful friendships forged through motorbikes and to many more adventures together full of laughter, challenges, mud, fun, windy roads and good food.
