I started this expedition with the main goal of riding as many winding roads as I can find along the way. However, overlanding is not only enjoying the scenic route.
Overlanding is a series of unexpected circumstances where the non-riding moments take a big part too. It’s standing in line for hours to go through customs or get a passport stamp.

It’s overcoming mechanical issues in the middle of nowhere, and dealing with last-minute ferry schedule cancellations due to bad weather.
Patience transforms frustration into part of the adventure. It allows you to smile at the border officers, chat with locals while waiting, and appreciate the wonderful world of unexpectations.

Remember the best stories usually come from moments that didn’t go according to the plan. So pack whatever you want, but don’t forget to pack a massive amount of patience.
